Jifeline and Car Lock Systems are automotive companies located together in the same modern premises in Werkendam and work closely together on innovative solutions. Jifeline develops and supplies innovative solutions for remote programming and coding of vehicle software. Car Lock Systems specialises in supplying car keys and car locks to automotive companies worldwide.

Within our organisations, we work with central departments that make up the business office. One of these central departments is the Facilities Department. This department ensures that facilities activities for both companies are carried out efficiently and in a structured manner.

This vacancy is for a position within the business office. This means that you will become part of an enthusiastic team dedicated to both Car Lock Systems and Jifeline. Within this team, colleagues are employed by one of the two companies, but we pull together to achieve the objectives of both companies.

Both companies are growing rapidly and a second office building has recently been occupied, opposite the head office. There is an informal atmosphere within the premises and they work as one team. What will you do?

As facilities coordinator, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating support and housekeeping activities for our various BVs. This includes the following services: company canteen, building management, cleaning, company clothing, outside grounds/greenery management, fleet management, security breakdowns.

You ensure that all facilities are in place, enabling your colleagues to do their best work and feel at home within our working environment. You coordinate the deployment and execution of the tasks of the company restaurant team and ensure that facility matters are carried out. Furthermore, you maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders and are responsible for the safety and quality of the facility services. You also deal with the planning and administration of the company restaurant.

You make sure you know what is going on among your people. You constantly ask yourself "can things be done better?" and participate in meetings on process improvements. You report to the management.

What do you bring?

For this vacancy, we are looking for a Facilities Coordinator who has a high sense of responsibility, is good at organising and works with enthusiasm and expertise. You work independently, are result-oriented, take initiative and have good communication skills. Furthermore, you have the following qualifications:

You have a completed mbo education, preferably in the field of facilities management, hospitality, or business administration
Work experience in a similar position is an advantage.
You can plan and organise well.
You feel at home in a dynamic environment where you can interact with colleagues from the various operating companies.
You have good commercial and financial acumen and do not lose sight of the business aspect.
You will work 32-40 hours a week in day shift from Monday to Friday.
